From the title, what would you think for the story? Sweet Romance?! Fairy Tale story?! Well, sorry to inform that, you would need to prepare your tissue when you are watching this movie. Yes, it is another tragedy romance story! :( This is the movie that adapted from the same name shojo manga.

Story :
This story revolves around Takuma, a boy who is told he will die before he is 20, and Mayu, a girl who is in love with him.
The story begins when they are little kids. Takuma Kakinouchi and Mayu Taneda were friends since they were 8-years-old. Takuma has a heart disease and he is treated by a cardiologist who happens to be Mayu's father. Their friendship grows and Takuma becomes Mayu's first love. Takuma promises to marry Mayu when they turn 20. One day, Mayu learns that Takuma would not live past the age of 20 due to his condition.
Time passes, and the girl becomes a young woman, and the boy, a young man. Mayu continues to support and love Takuma. On the other hand, Takuma, who knows his days are numbered, pushes away his feelings for Mayu and distances himself from Mayu, knowing that he cannot keep his childhood promise because he cannot stand to see her cry or hurt her more than he already has.
Then Mayu meets Subaru Suzuya, who has feelings for her, and Takuma meets Teru Uehara, one female patient who suffers a similar illness,who has a crush on him and their feelings for each other begin to waver. But they manage to become a couple after the misunderstandings have solved, and they even have their first warm night.
However, when they are having their sweet times, Takuma's sick has became serious by without having any heart donation. So he is having a happy day with Mayu at the theme park before he leaves her. Mayu keeps their promise as she takes his ashes to the church and she is wearing her wedding gown......

Like I mentioned, this movie is adapted from the same name shojo manga. But I did not read it and I think I will not going to read it too as it's a sad story. By watching this movie, you really need some tissue papers with you. I like the lead actress of the movie as I think she is pretty and cute.
