Who is the Murderer? – TEN

Hi there! I would like to recommend a Korean TV drama which I am watching lately on the Channel 729, i.e. KIX HD Channel of Astro.  It is the story about the investigation of special crimes. A former detective and current police academy instructor, Ji Hoon, leads a special crime unit called “Ten" that solves cases with less than 10% rate of arrests. It is showing on every Sunday, from 7:50pm until 9:00pm. This TV drama has 10 episodes.

Joo Sang Wook as Yeo Ji Hoon

A former top-notch detective, but now works as a professor. He then becomes the leader of Special Affairs Team TEN.

Jo An as Nam Ye Ri

She has been a detective for 4 years. She joins Special Affairs Team TEN because of her psychological reasoning powers.

Kim Sang Ho as Baek Do Shik

A 24 year veteran detective. He possesses a keen sense of intuition, which he honed from his many years as a detective.

Choi Woo Shik (최우식) as Park Min Ho

A new detective. He joins Special Affairs Team TEN after impressing Professor Yeo Ji Hoon with his reasoning powers.

Kim Hae In as Kim Eun Young / Seo Eun Bi (ep1)

Min Suk as Kim Sun Woo (manager of Queen's Nest) (ep5)

I like to watch this drama very much as it always attracts the audience to investigate who the murderer is and why did he do such thing! I think it is very mysterious sometimes. All the detectives are very intelligent too, especially the leader, Ji Hoon. He looks very cool in the drama. I also like the lady detective, the actress Jo An. I think she is quite pretty. But the one I like the most is the newbie detective, the actor, Choi Woo Shik. He is very cute in this drama.

City Hunter Plays Backup to Producer TK's Virtual Diva in Video

Saeba, Kaori, Umibōzu animated in CG music video for Mana song from Tetsuya Komuro

City Hunter characters Ryō Saeba, Kaori Makimura, and Umibōzu appear in animation for the first time in years in an new CG music video for the virtual diva Mana. The virtual artist and her "Supernatural" music video are the brainchild of prolific musical producer/artist Tetsuya Komuro (TM Network) and City Hunter creator Tsukasa Hojo.

The short version of the music video debuted on YouTube on Friday. This video features the City Hunter crew playing backup to Mana: Saeba on electric guitar, Kaori on the keyboard, and Umibōzu on drums.

Hojo drew the image illustrations of Manga, and Komuro drew inspiration from Hojo's rough sketches to create her personality and her music. This is not the first teamup between Hojo and Komuro; as part of the group TM Network, Komuro had performed the iconic "Get Wild" ending theme song for the City Hunter television anime series 25 years ago.

The current version of the music video is only 37 second long, but the complete version will be available soon.

Soko o Nantoka Shōjo Lawyer Manga Gets Live-Action Show

Manga creator Mikoto Asou announced on Saturday that a live-action television adaptation of her Soko o Nantoka shōjo manga has been green-lit for an October premiere. Yuika Motokariya (Wild 7, We Were There) will play Rakuko "Rakko" Kaise, a former caberet girl who is now a rookie lawyer. Kaise was raised in a poor family, so she decides to become a lawyer to earn money.

Asou launched the original manga in Hakusensha's Melody magazine in 2007, and Hakusensha published the sixth compiled book volume in March.

The live-action series will run on the public broadcaster NHK's satelite and cable channel BS Premium. It has been about seven years since Motokariya appeared in the 2005 television series Fight. Ennosuke Ichikawa IV, Megumi, Shunji Igarashi, Ōshirō Maeda, Kōhei Takeda, Waka Inoue, and Kōhei Ōtomo will also star in Soko o Nantoka.

Romance in the Entertainment Industry – Ai Wo Chodai!

Konnichiwa minasan! It has been a long time that I did not recommend the manga series. Sorry for that! :P Well, today I will recommend a new manga series to you all as you can read it while waiting for your favourite manga series, just to avoid wasting time of waiting for the coming chapters.

The manga series I am going to recommend is called “Ai Wo Chodai!” and it is a completed manga series with 6 volumes.  It is a shoujo romance manga series. The story is about the romance in the entertainment industry.

On the other hand, the boss and childhood friend of Marumie are also fall for her. This makes her have troubles to approach to her admirer, Kanadagawa-san. Thus, she works very hard for her jobs in order to meet him easily.

This is a short manga series and I think the art is quite ok as compared to others shoujo manga series. The story is quite interesting thus I am recommending this to you.

Personally, I prefer the characters of the boss and the childhood friend of Marumie than the lead male character, Kanadagawa-san. The reason that he always very “cold” to Marumie whereas the other two men treat her very well. Overall, It is just my thought; maybe you have the different thought from mine! :P

Fairy Tail: Hōō no Miko Film's Full Trailer Streamed

The Japanese distributor Shochiku began streaming the full trailer for the first Fairy Tail anime film, Gekijō-ban Fairy Tail: Hōō no Miko (Fairy Tail the Movie: The Maiden of the Phoenix), on Friday. The key phrase of the film is, "Magic causes people misfortune?"

The film revolves around a mysterious girl named Éclair who appears before Fairy Tail, the world's most notorious wizard's guild. She lost all of her memories, except for the imperative that she must deliver two Hōōseki (Phoenix Stones) somewhere. The stones may spell the collapse of the magical world, and Natsu, Lucy, and the rest of the Fairy Tail guild are caught up in the intrigue.

Hiro Mashima, the creator of the original Fairy Tail manga, is in charge of story planning and visual design for the film's all-new plot, and he is also drafting the guest character designs and image concept art. Masaya Fujimori (You Are Umasou) is directing, and Masashi Sogo (Fairy Tail, Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin) wrote the screenplay.

The Fairy Tail film will open on August 18 in Japan. Ticket sales have already begun, and advance tickets come with "Hajimari no Asa" (The First Morning), a 30-page limited-edition special comic prologue penned by Mashima.

Hayate's Hata Confirms New Anime Is Not 3rd Season (Updated)

Kenjirou Hata, the creator of the Hayate the Combat Butler (Hayate no Gotoku!) manga, confirmed on Wednesday that the upcoming new television anime is not the third season of the previous anime. He emphasized, just like Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine is doing this week, that it is a "new Hayate the Combat Butler."

Although he acknowledged that he cannot say much about the new anime yet, Hata did say that the new anime is being produced with feedback received from working on the Hayate the Combat Butler! Heaven Is a Place on Earthfilm. He added that he is not just "the original creator" of the new anime, but he is also involved as one of the staff members.

The new anime will premiere this fall. The Comic Natalie website posted the color first page of the latest Hayate the Combat Butler manga installment on Wednesday, and Hata included a thumbnail of the image in his latest "Manga Creator Backstage" post on the same day. However, the color illustration is not the promotional image for the anime.
