Oh.. I Can't See Beauty Face -- Beauty Reserch Club

Konnichiwa minasan! I have found a cute and sweet romance shoujo manga series lately. I have started to read some of the chapters already and I like it very much. Hence, I would like to share this sweet romance manga series with you all.

The title of the manga series is called “Beauty Research Club” a.k.a. “Beauty!!” The author is Oda Aya and it is released in the year of 2004. The story is about a school-girl named Makato has met 2 brothers in the school and both of them like her, but she only falls for the younger brother. However, Makato has a problem, which is she will throw-up whenever she sees beauty as these 2 brothers are having the beauty face. For your information, this manga series is ongoing series for the scandalation.

Even though Atsushi is rough and not in the least gentle, he is actually generous in heart. Makato could not help but fall in love with him, and confessed to Atsushi in order to avoid Kiyoshi’s determined wooing. After Atsushi made his love response through the intercom, the two finally started their new love relationship…..

Takebayashi Makato
The protagonist of the story. 1^st year student of Mitzutama High. A pure and naïve beauty. Has the sickness of hating beautiful guys, but then been cured.

Bido Kiyoshi
Also known as You. The President of the Beauty Research Club. He is the elder brother of Atsushi by one year. Even though he is a bishounen as well, he is also infamous for being the school’s trouble-maker.

Bido Atsushi
2^nd year student of Mitzutama High. Also a member of the Beauty Research Club. Even though he is a bishounen, he has a bad temper. He is embarrassing for his real name.

Well, I like this manga series very much due to the art is very beautiful and all the characters are cute. Moreover the story is also very interesting and sometimes very funny. There are more characters will appear in the story as it makes the story more interesting. Eg, the school President appears and wants to steal Makato from the brothers, etc.

Chu-Bra's Yumi Nakata to Launch New Manga in August

The October issue of Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Rex magazine (on sale on August 27) will begin serializing Yumi Nakata's new manga Oku-sama ga Seitokai-chō! (My Wife Is the Student Council President!) The October issue will also have a new manga called Enbure! by Peke.

Nakata is the creator of the manga Chu-Bra!!, which launched in Comic High! in 2007. The manga features middle-school student Nayu who begins an underwear appreciation club. The series was adapted into an anime last year and streamed by Crunchyroll.

The September issue of Monthly Comic Rex features the return of the Kannagi manga after its hiatus due to the creator's illness in 2009.

Dreams, Bread, Love -- King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo

After finished showing the K-drama of "Personal Taste" on 8TV channel (channel 708), it will start to show the new K-drama called "King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo" from 29/7/2011. The story covers the life of Kim Tak-Gu from the 1970's until the late 1980's as he becomes one of the most successful bakers in all of Korea.

Chapter 62 of KWMS -- Part 2

Sorry minasan! There is another half for the chapter 62 of the KWMS. I’ve missed it when I did the translation in this afternoon. So, here comes the story.

After Misaki and Usui leave the boys, they head to the wishing waterfall of the temple and they see they are many people are lining up for making their wish. Misaki says “I recall that people will have their wish come true after drinking the water. Healthy, beauty and career?” Usui then says “I remember the booklet give the description as ‘Health, Study and Marriage’”. Misaki is shocked to hear that Usui did the checking for it. She says to Usui that for the report, she will give it a try. Usui asks her which one she will choose. Misaki is giving a deep thought as which of the one to be chosen among the 3 as she cannot have all 3 of them. Then she chooses for the ‘Health’ as the other 2 cannot be achieved without good health. Then she tells Usui to go for the queue. Usui is still standing there and she asks him if wants to go for another one instead and he says no. Then he asks Misaki if she has made up her mind and she asks him back “What do you mean?”

Then they see Sakura is talking with the lead vocalist of the band in a very happy face and Misaki hides at the back of Usui immediately as she does not want them to discover that she is there.  They see Sakura is holding hand with the lead vocalist and then Misaki tells Usui to leave them alone and walk away. “Let’s go for a walk since there is such a good opportunity.” Misaki then recalls that all these time that she taking concern on Usui and even confessed to him is all due to she does not want to lose the important thing. Thus, she takes her hand out to hold Usui’s hand and says “Everyone will understand by this! That we are together.”  Usui asks “Is it ok for you if everybody knows it?” “Oh.. I..” “Are you OK, Ayuzawa?” “I’M NOT OK!” She says. “Then, let’s let go of the hands” he says. “There aren’t anybody seeing now, if keeps it as a secret is not good either. I‘m decided do not want to waste anymore time to get together with you.” “Me too!” Usui says.

Hinata and the idiot trio see Misaki and Usui together in holding hands and they wonder are they a couple. Then other students also see them and started to wonder are they a couple too. Some do not believe them as say they are impossible to become a couple. Finally Hinata says that it is true as they are going out currently and is a couple.

The school trips ends, and Sakura has many bags of souvenirs. A boy bumps into Shizuko and she cannot recognise him (the glasses guy) as he does not wear his glasses. After he puts back his glasses, then only she recognises him and Sakura is shocked to see that Shizuko couldn’t recognise the boy without the glasses. Shizuko then gives her reasons and Sakura does not believe it. The idiot trio is sad to leave as there are some other places that they did not mange to visit in Kyoto.  Yukimura sees Misaki and Usui together and he wants to approach to them but stops by the idiot trio. Some of the school girls ask Sakura and Shizuko about Misaki and Usui and all of the students are looking at them. Usui asks Misaki if she regrets for it and she is not. Thus, the 2 people are facing the matter together from on onwards.

Chapter 62 of KWMS

Hi Minasan! I've translated the chapter 62 of KWMS, apologise for the poor grammar as I did it in a very short time. Anyway, hope you all will enjoy it!

Chapter 62 –School Field Trip ~ To spend the secret time at an unknown secret place!!!

The story continues with the last chapter that Misaki is hugging Usui in the linen room while it starts to rain. “I’ll be transfer to the Miyabigaoka High school when I’m in year 3!” Misaki is still hugging Usui from his behind and asking “Aren’t you going to explain… “ “I’m sorry!”

“Are you really realised that I’m your girlfriend?” Misaki is asking Usui by blushing. Usui says. “I wanna see your face and talk, Ayuzawa!” and she answers “I don’t want to”. Usui then releases her hand and turns back to Misaki and embraces her tightly. Usui says to her “I’d made such decision is due to I don’t wanna leave Ayuzawa.” Misaki thinks she knows it and it is the best decision that comes from Usui after his thoughtfully consideration. Misaki says to Usui, “you can’t make your own decision even with such circumstance…” “Yes, you are right” he says. Don’t fool around idiot Usui, really pissed off. I’m already tired to see that you want to stay alone by yourself, Misaki thinks. “I’m sorry, Ayuzawa.” Usui says. “I’m not going to forgive ya!” she says to him. “Looking at that, I’ve to change then.. because I’m not alone anymore” Usui says. Usui approaches to Misaki and kisses on her nose. “Ayuzawa….I……”Usui embraces Misaki tightly. “…Usui…?”

Door opens suddenly. “Oh… very tired! Can’t see anything!” Marie sensei bumps in the room suddenly. “Isn’t here the room for class 2?” Both Misaki and Usui stand separately immediately and Misaki says ”Wow, the thunder is so strong!” and Usui continues to say “It sure is, it can be seen very clearly here.” Misaki then answers to Sensei “This is not the room, but the linen room, the place for towels!” Sensei says “Misaki-chan! You are very naughty, why are you together with Usui In here?!” “Very bad, you monopolise Misaki-chan by yourself!” Misaki tries to explain to the sensei “This is due to I’ve spilled something…” “Oh I see. Well, as a sensei, I can help you to get something to change! C’mon, let’s go back to room to get change!” and sensei is pushing Misaki to leave the room, and Usui is staying behind. Misaki says “But the shirt…” “Sensei will return to him for ya!”Sensei says. Sensei then looks back to Usui by giving him an ugly look. “Hold on sensei, you are too close!”Misaki says. “It’s because it’s so dark and I can’t see clearly!”Sensei teasing Misaki. Usui can’t do anything and just stays in the room by himself. It’s still poring outside.

Shizuko is in the mood of love and Misaki and Sakura are shocked to see her in such expression. All the girls are jealous of her and they want to make a wish at the temple.  Misaki then reminds them to write the report. Misaki meets an old granny in the train when she and her friends are on the way to the temple. She helps the granny to carry her bags from the train to the platform and she misses her train. The granny feels sorry for her and Misaki does not mind it. In fact she helps her to carry her bags to her place. On the other hand, sensei and the boys find out that Usui is not coming with the group again and Marie Sensei tells the boys to look for him.

Usui meets Misaki on the street and he calls her and she gets a shock to see him. “What are you doing here?” “I’m just helping the granny to carry the bags.” Granny says “She is very nice by doing me the favour. Are you her friend?”She is asking Usui in a smiling face. Usui is then answers with a happy face “Yes, I’m. To be precisely, I’m her boyfriend!” Misaki is surprised to hear it. “Can I help you too?” Usui asks the granny. “Oh mind, this is great!”Granny says happily.

On the other side, the idiot trio is asking why there isn’t a maid café in Kyoto. They are very sad as they want to collect information about the maid latte. At the temple, Shizuko is accidentally meets the glasses boy again and she is excited to see him. Granny then thanks to Misaki and Usui and tells them they look a great couple. This reminds her of her young days and telling them “Spending time with the love one is most precious thing!” then the granny leaves them.

 Usui then contacts his friend by telling he will explain to the sensei after meeting up. Misaki then suggests to him that they go to the temple together. When they reached the temple, they see there is a huge crowd there. Misaki then takes out the notebook to write for report. Usui then recalls that he has given a digital camera to Misaki as the birthday present and he asks her why she didn’t use it for the report. Misaki says it might be found out by others as there is his photo enclosed. “Bring it next time for our next date then” Usui tells Misaki. “You must bring it!”He says. Misaki asks “Would there be a day? Maybe you won’t have the time after your transfer!” Usui says “Definitely it will not be the same as before. But, no matter what happens, I’ll go to see you every day, even in just for few minutes.  Even though transfer, it is not too far away, I won’t move my house, regardless at Seika High or the maid café, we still can see each other.” “Maybe!”Misaki says. “You are thinking that I’ll disappear secretly?!”Usui asks her. Misaki thinks that his style. “I’m sorry then.”He says. “I’ll try to tell you everything from now on, just for Ayuzawa!” “May I ask you a question? Why do you want to transfer?”Misaki asks.

“To face the reality, I can’t do like currently. By transfer to Miyabigaoka, then only I have my freedom.” Usui says. “Just as I thought!”She says. “Why do you ask then?”He asks. “Do you want to piss me off?” “I’m sorry!” Misaki then sees the boys of Seika are fooling around at the temple and she scolds them. Then she sees that the boys are actually writing their wishes on the wooden board and he sees those wishes and smiles. She apologises to them and tells them to keep the voice down at the temple. Then Misaki goes with Usui and the boys are shocked to see them together and wondering why both of them together, is it they going round to check on the students.

Sentai Filmworks Licenses Croisée in a Foreign Labyrinth ~ The Animation

Sentai Filmworks announced on Thursday that it has licensed the television anime adaptation of Hinata Takeda's Ikoku Meiro no Croisée (La croisée dans un labyrinthe étranger) manga under the name Croisée in a Foreign Labyrinth - The Animation. The Anime Network will begin streaming the 12-episode series on July 26, and Sentai Filmworks will release the series on home video in 2012.

The story follows a girl named Yune who arrives in the lower-class neighborhoods of Paris in the last half of the 19th century, when Japanese culture gains popularity in Europe. She ends up working at an ironworks shop with a boy named Claude.

Kenji Yasuda (Shugo Chara! franchise) is directing the project's animators at the studio Satelight. Junichi Sato (Aria, Kaleido Star, Princess Tutu, Tamayura) is not only supervising the story that Mamiko Ikeda (D.C. ~Da Capo~, Emma: A Victorian Romance, Himawari!) is scripting, but he is also directing the soundtrack. Animators from France are drawing the background art for Satelight. The anime premiered in Japan on July 3.

Mayu Shinjo's Ai Ore! Manga Gets Live-Action Film

Manga creator Mayu Shinjo (Sensual Phrase) announced on her blog that a live-action film adaptation of her Ai Ore! Love Me! (Ai-Ore! Danshikō no Hime to Joshikō no Ōji) manga has been green-lit. The film is slated to open in Japan at the end of this year.

The manga centers around two teenagers: Mizuki, the female “prince” of her all-girls school and the lead guitarist in an all-girl rock band, and Akira, the male “princess” of his all-boys school. Akira want to join Mizuki's band Blaue Rosen when the band's lead singer moves overseas, but first he has to overcome Mizuki's suspicious misgivings.

The manga launched in Shogakukan's Shōjo Comic (now named Sho-Comi) under the title Ai o Utau yori Ore ni Oborero! However, the manga then moved to Kadokawa's Monthly Asuka magazine, and thus Shinjo changed its title. The first arc of the manga ended, and the series is currently on hiatus.

Viz Media published the first volume of the manga in North America in May. Viz also publishes Shinjo's Sensual Phrase manga.
