Konnichiwa minasan! I realized that I have been introducing quite a number of Korean TV series lately. So, it is time for me to recommend a manga series to you all. Well, while waiting for my ongoing manga series to release, I bumped into this one-shot romance shoujo manga. After reading it, I like it and would like to recommend to you all. Well, at least you could have something to read while waiting for your manga to be released. :P This one-shot manga series is called “Love Graduation” and the author is Oda Aya. It is the same author for the manga series “Lovey Dovey” which I blogged before. This manga is released in the year of 2005.
The story is about a girl named Fujisaki Asuka, she has a crush on Urabe Jun for three years. Urabe Jun is her classmate for 3 years and he is very popular among the girls. Asuka has never talks to him before even they are in the same class for years. However, days before the graduation, to her surprise, Jun asks her to be his girlfriend. But there is a catch; he actually wants her to pretend so other girls would not swarm around him. Asuka is disappointed, but for her, just being around him is enough. She decides to enjoy spending time with him while she can, but jealous girls are not happy with the new "couple".
While pretending to be the girlfriend of Jun, Asuka is very happy and she would like to have Jun as her real boyfriend instead. She decides to tell Jun on the graduation day. However, on the day before the graduation, the girls have found out that actually they are pretending as the “couple”. Asuka is very sad and she is thinking that she has no chance to confess to Jun. On the other hand, Jun is telling her that actually he has been in love with her all along and that is why he has asked her to be his “girlfriend” as he wants to go out with the girl he truly likes. So, it is a sweet happy ending! ^.^
I like this one-shot manga due to the story is quite sweet and the drawings are nice and cute. OK, let us take some preview of the “Love Graduation”.
