Sweet Temptation: The 4 Hot Guys, F4 -- Boys Over Flowers

"Boys over Flowers" is a popular Korean TV drama in the year 2009. It is based on Japanese shōjo manga series, Boys Over Flowers (花より男子 Hana Yori Dango), written by Yoko Kamio. The series is the fifth television adaptation of the manga following the Taiwanese Meteor Garden and its sequel Meteor Garden II and the Japanese Hana Yori Dango and its sequel Hana Yori Dango Returns. A China adaptation is also coming up. I have already watched the Taiwanese series and the Japanese anime series. "Boys over Flowers" is the story about a girl-next-door who gets herself tangled up in a relationship with a rich and stubborn boy, and her life takes a turn as she gets involved with him and his friends, or F4.

For those who have not watched the series or the adaptations before, this is the ‘Iconic Love Story' for those who wish to stay young at heart forever! Jandi, the heroine, is the poor but bright girl who has a strong sense of justice and full of vitality. She transfers to an exclusive high school where only the rich go. In there, she encounters with the four rich and quirky boys and experiences love and friendship. The drama has been very popular in Korea and the ratings have been doing quite well since it started showing in Korea on 5 January 2009.

Story       :
Jan Di is an average girl whose family owns a dry cleaning store located near the luxurious and well known Shin Hwa College. Jan Di meets the four richest and most spoiled boys known as the F4. After saving a boy from jumping off the roof of Shinhwa High School, she is admitted into the school on a swimming scholarship. Jan Di tries to avoid confrontation with the F4 at all cost because she knows what happens to those that stand against them. However, when Jan Di's friend, Oh Min Ji, accidentally gets ice cream on the leader of the F4's shoes, she's forced to declare war on the leader of the F4, Goo Joon Pyo. What will happen though, when she falls in love with someone from the F4 and Goo Joon Pyo start feeling something for her too? Will the love triangle disrupt F4 and change their lives forever?
