Let's Enter the Material Business World -- MIDAS

"Midas", a new Korean TV drama is scheduled to air on the Astro S One HD channel (channel 393) after the spy-action drama "Athena: Goddess of War" which will premiere on 23/3/2011 at 9pm. "Midas" is a business drama about mergers and acquisitions between companies. It is about the stock markets and the financial world.

The drama which will be set in the business world, dealing with securities, mergers, and acquisitions between companies, will be helmed by PD Kang Shin Hyo of ‘Tazza’ and penned by famous scriptwriter-producer Choi Wan Kyu of 2002’s smash-hit drama ‘All In’ and mega-popular ‘Jumong’.

Jang Hyuk will co-star with rising actress Lee Min Jung who recently hit the local box-office with romantic-comedy movie ‘Cyrano Agency’ that lead her won two awards at the 47^th Daejong Film Awards for category of Best New Actress and Popularity Award.

Jang Hyuk is act as an ambitious man to have material success in this drama. The people are aim for money, power and it is about the greediness.

Meanwhile, Lee Min Jung  is star as a young woman who just graduates from nursing college and starts working at a large general hospital. Her fresh and youthful image is expected to attract people attention.

The drama also stars Kim Hee Ae (My Man’s Woman) which comes back from a four-year hiatus. Her character is described as a sharp businesswoman, who shares romantic relationship with a chaebol.
