Everyone has 2 sides : Demon/Human -- Nura : Rise of the Yokai Clan

I am watching another anime series on Animax channel lately. It is "Nura : Rise of The Yokai Clan". I am recommending this anime series to you. It is adapted from a shounen manga series which written and illustrated by Hiroshi Shiibashi. The manga series was first published in Shueisha as a one shot in 2007. The manga has been continuously serialized in the Japanese manga anthology Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 2008 and has been collected into 14 tankōbon volumes as of April 2010.

The story of "Nura : Rise of the Yokai Clan" is about a boy named Rikuo who is a human by having a quarter of yokai (demon). He is living with his yokai granny in a house with full of spirits. Trying to escape his fate of acting like a demon, he does good deeds in order to avoid becoming one despite his grandfather's wish to succeed him as master of the Nura youkai clan.

Story       :
Rikuo Nura is part human and a quarter yōkai (demon). Rikuo is able to turn into his yokai form only after the sunsets when the moon is out, he turns back into his human self when the sun rises. This happens because he is only a quarter yokai. He lives in a house full of spirits along with his yōkai grandfather. Trying to escape his fate of acting like a yōkai, he does good deeds in order to avoid becoming one, despite his grandfather's wish to succeed him as master of the Nura yōkai clan. Rikuo is a different yokai because he helps humans. He eventually comes to terms with his demon blood and decides to take up the position of Young head of the Nura house. Multiple factions aim to stop him or overtake his position, and he must gather friends and allies, a new Hyakki Yakō under his banner of "Fear".

Characters :
Rikuo Nura (奴良 リクオ, Nura Rikuo)
A 12-year-old boy who inherited 1/4 yokai (demon) blood from his grandfather. When he faces danger, his yokia (demon) blood will be awakened, transforming him into his night form - the master of all yokai (demon). In his human form, he is seemingly weak but very clever. 

Night Rikuo (ぬらりひょんの孫, Nurarihyon no Mago)
A confident, strong and inspires "Fear" among his allies, which has lead to many yokai following him. He handles yokai matters in this form. 

Yuki-Onna (雪女, lit. snow woman)
Rikuo's trusted attendant and part of Rikuo's new "Hyakki Yakō" who follows him to school disguised as Tsurara Oikawa (及川 氷麗, Oikawa Tsurara), a normal schoolgirl. She is affectionate towards Rikuo and even gets jealous when other girls pay him attention. This is also reinforced by the fact that other characters express how bad a situation would be come if Tsurara were to see what other female characters did to Rikuo. She also admires Rikuo's yōkai form, because she finds him very reliable and magnificent. She is overprotective of Rikuo when he is his "day" or human form and expresses great concern for his well being, which is the reason why she is always around him at school (which causes misunderstandings and concern on Kana's part). She also acts as a cook and, though her food is delicious, most of the time it is chilled or cold. She is the daughter of Setsura.

Ienaga Kana
Childhood friend and neighbour of Rikuo. She seems to have some affection for Rikuo as she gets jealous seeing Rikuo and Tsurara together. Rikuo has promised to help Kana if she is ever in needs.

KeiKain Yura
She is a Onmyouji who specialises in shikigami. Trained and raised to see yokai evil, she seeks to defeat Nurarihyon and then inherited the household. However, she is willing to accept Rikuo eventhough he is a yokai (demon).

The above are only some of the characters in the anime series. There are more characters in the series. I think the Night Rikuo is very cool and Yuki-Onna is a very cute girl. She treats her master very well.
