The Craziest Girl at School -- The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

I am watching an anime series on TV lately. It is called "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya". This anime series is airing on the Astro Animax channel on every Wednesday with 2 episodes back to back. This is a series of Japanese light novels is written by Nagaru Tanigawa with accompanying illustrations drawn by Noizi Ito. The story centers around the eponymous high school girl Haruhi Suzumiya, her strange antics, and her friends in a club she forms called the SOS Brigade.

"The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" has 2 seasons of the anime series. The TV is airing the Season 2 currently. There is also a movie for this animation.

Haruhi Suzumiya features a titular high-school girl who possesses profound powers that can change, destroy or create a new reality based on her desires and feelings. The series follows Haruhi's amusing day-to-day antics with her 4 friends at school who are members of her own school club, the SOS Brigade. Average schoolboy and narrator of the series Kyon, the quiet bibliophile Yuki, the shy and timid Mikuru and the friendly exchange student Itsuki have been drafted into the brigade by Haruhi. The members soon revealed as themselves to Kyon as paranormal beings. Yuki is an ET, Mikuru is a time traveller and Itsuki is an ESPer (people with extra sensory perception), sent by their respective organisations to observe Haruhi and keep her reality-warping powers in check by maintaing the illusion of a normal life.

I am kind of enjoy watching this anime series as I think it is very funny. I think Haruhi is a very wild girl and the time traveller Mikuru is very cute. Let's not forget Itsuki is cool! :P I am also watching its Season 1 online. I will catch its movie once I finish watching the 2 seasons of this anime series.
