Winning Prize for Snap & Win Contest for "My Love from the Star"!

OMG! I have won the prize of the contest of the Snap and Win Contest of the Korean drama  "My Love from the Star". In the beginning of April this year, I have submitted some contest entries via email for the Korean drama. It has to snap the favourite scene of the drama and to give the reason of the favourite scene for the contest.

After I have submitted the entries via email, I am very  nervous for the result release. But i have been waited so long and no news about it and it makes me have forgotten about it and also thought that I did not win for the contest.

However, on 20/5/2014,I have received an email to inform me that I have won for the "Snap & Win contest". Although I am not the grand prize winner and just one of the consolation prize winners, yet I am still very happy for it. This is due to I have won the limited edition of the merchandise of the K-drama"My Love from the Star". In the email, it is informing that the prize is sending from Singapore to me. Thus, I was waited patiently until 29/5/2014and I finally received my prize.

The prize includes a notebook and a set of 5 pieces of postcards of the K-drama "My Love from the Star". Moreover, these stuff are the limited editions and I am so happy, gladly to receive them!!! :D you may see the pictures below :-

K-drama Postcard Collections! :D

Yahoo! I have received the postcards of my favourite Korean TV series from my pen-pals. They are Sinae from Korea to send me the drama postcards of "The Moon that Embraces the Sun" and CuZn from China to send the hit series "My Love from the Star"!

I was so surprised when I received the drama postcards. I am very happy too as both series are starring with the same actor, he is Kim Soo-hyun. Yes, a very, very popular idol in Asia now after the TV drama " My Love from the Star" as the character of a cool alien professor named Do Min-joon. :P

Well, the actor, Kim Soo-hyun is one of my favourite Korean male actors as his acting skill is good and he looks cute too. He has also won many awards in his career. I got to know this actor from the drama "Giant" in few years back.

Anyway, I like both the drama of the postcards that my pen-pals have sent to me. Thus, I am very grateful for receiving them. Hence, I would like to say Kamsah Hamidah, Xie Xie 谢谢 to Sinae and CuZn respectively. Lastly, a BIG THANK YOU to you all!!!! :) once again, THANK YOU!!! :D

Konnichiwa Minasan! I would like to recommend the part 2 of the Japanese anime series from my previous post. The name is called "Pretty Rhythm : Dear My Future". It is a completed anime series with 51 episodes. The story is about 3 years after the prism stars MARS!!!

Title         Pretty Rhythm : Dear My Future

Genre      : Dancing, Romance, Shoujo, Fashion, Comedy

Episodes : 51

Status      : Completed

Story :

Pretty Rhythm Dear My Future takes place three years after the end of Aurora Dream, and now revolves around new Prism Star unit Prizmmy☆, consisting of Mia Ageha, Reina Miyama, Karin Shijimi, and Ayami Ooruri, and their rivals PURETTY, a unit from Korea that consists of Hye In, Chae Kyoung, So Min, Shi Yoon, and Jae Eun. The anime focuses on the girls becoming proper Prism Show units, and also on them collecting the various pieces of the Symphonia of Awakening dress. However, MARs still deals with many problems in their personal lives, and as such, the show also focuses on them for a large portion of the show.

Characters Description :

Mia Ageha (上葉 みあ)
This perky and lively 14 year old girl is the new main character of Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future. Having her eyes set on Aira and beating her, she tries her best and never gives up to reach her goal by first getting into "Pretty Top". She calls Penguin Sensei, Pen-Chan Sensei and Yunsu, Rival Boy. Her attitude toward her dreams impresses the people around her. She is shown to have a somewhat talent for the Prism Show like Aira. Her will is "Ki・Do・Ai・Raku!" (Motivation, Courage, Love and Luck). Her catchphrase is "Mia is number one!". She has long, wavy purple hair with a bow on the side of her hair. Mia aims to be the top in everything she tries to do and will go to many lengths to do it. She has feelings for Prism Ace (also, she is the only one who doesn't know Prism Ace is Takigawa Jun).

Reina Miyama (深山 れいな)
A very sensible 14 year old girl, Reina often has to stop Mia from charging straight ahead. However, she is also very sensitive. Reina has wavy light brown hair, always in twin tails. She has the strongest singing skills in Prizmmy☆. Reina has feelings for Itsuki Harune, Aira's younger brother.

Karin Shijimi (志々美 かりん)
A 13 year old girl with a candid personality, Karin makes everyone around her cheer up. Karin has short brown hair, which is always in a side tail. She causes a lot of trouble for others, but she is thoughtful. She holds the skill for wonderful dance. She loves to move her body. Karin has eight younger brothers. Her catchphrase is "Galactical!".

Ayami Ōruri (大瑠璃 あやみ)
The youngest member of Prizmmy☆, Ayami is a kind, quiet and shy 12 year old girl. However, when push comes to shove, she can be quite courageous. Just like Aira, she has an affinity for fashion. Ayami has a habit of writing notes in her notepad. She has long, straight blue hair, which she wears it in a high ponytail. Her catchphrase is "Memo Memo desu!". Ayami also likes cats.

TOP - Mia & Reina
BOTTOM - Karin & Ayami

Hye In (ヘイン)
Hye In is a 15 year old girl who is doing a Prism study abroad program in Japan at "Pretty Top", and comes from Korea. She has a lively personality, but works very hard and seriously at whatever she does. She's childhood friends with Mia. Hye In also becomes interested Symphonia Series and is willing to help Yunsu with his dream by sponsoring for him. Hye In has a weird hobby that she really likes, which is practising and increasing her stamina, like running 30 laps, doing 200 push-ups, doing beach flag, etc. She won MVP and the Symphonia Dress at the Symphonia Summer Festival, despite not winning the festival itself.

So Min (ソミン)
So Min is 14 year old and seems like a very kind and gentle person, but in fact, she cannot forgive things that are wrong and will never let anything she thinks is right get messed up. She is a study-abroad student from Korea who has a good head on her shoulders. So Min won lots of trophies, seen in Episode 8. She doesn't have a counterpart in Prizmmy☆, but holds a good friendly rivalry with Mia. As a child, So Min love the sea but after drifting too far into the ocean, she became scared of it. With Yunsu's advice, she overcame this fear and continued her Prism Act at the "Pretty Top" Water Festival. So Min has feelings for Yunsu. In a few episodes, So Min is seen crying tears if joy, like in episode 12, where they debuted as Puretty.

Shi Yoon (シウン)
A very spaced-out and slow-tempo 16 year old girl, Shi Yoon is one of the girls who came abroad from Korea to study the art of Prism Shows at the "Pretty Top" agency in the anime, Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future. She is the all-noticing, thoughtful big sister role of her team. Usually, she is very kind and docile, but she is actually extremely scary when angered. Her best friend in Prizmmy☆ is Karin. She would say "Yeah!!" a few times, like when she first met Karin.

Chae Kyung (チェギョン)
Chae Kyung is a study-abroad 16 year old student from Korea that has come to Japan and "Pretty Top" to learn the art of Prism Shows in the anime, Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future. Chae Kyung is a refreshing girl who comes from a house with lots of money. She's good at finding diamonds in the rough, but has a problem with thinking she can solve everything with money. She's the kind of girl who thinks she's a celebrity, and pushes her way through. Her catchphrase is "Celebrity!". Her best friend in Prizmmy☆ is Ayami. Most of Puretty's expenses are paid by her and her family. She is Yunsu's little sister. Her mother was a genius actress and wanted to make her proud in being one (she was jealous that her brother impressed her with his designer drawings). However after winning the film audition and having to choose between being an actress and Prism Star, Chae Kyung realized that being a Prism Star makes her really happy and gain caring friends.

Jae Eun (ジェウン)
The youngest girl in the study abroad team, Jae Eun is one of the girls who came abroad from Korea to study the art of Prism Shows at the "Pretty Top" agency in the anime, Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future. Jae Eun is a natural airhead and is more than a bit clumsy. A sweet and honest 13 year old girl. She falls in love easily with boys that she thinks is really handsome or has a "Paku-Paku" atmosphere like, Itsuki in Episode 5, an unknown boy in Episode 5, Shō in Episode 20 and Chef Shiotani in Episode 33. She has a habit of saying "Paku-Paku".
PURETTY

Yong Hwa (ヨンファ)
Yong Hwa is a famous Prism Star Idol that works for the same office as Puretty. He is very popular as a large crowd of women appear whenever his name is said. Yong Hwa first appeared in Episode 22. He is also Chae Kyung's and Yunsu's childhood friend. Yong Hwa can tell what someone loves the most or their object of affection (he calls it Heart Shuffle). It is shown that he knows Reina's crush as he is always teasing her about her feelings for Itsuki, thinking that Reina is very cute.

Itsuki Harune (春音 いつき)
Itsuki is Aira's 14 year old little brother who usually teases her and the object of Reina's affection. He is younger but looks more mature and not clumsy like his older sister Aira. Itsuki helped her keep the secret about being in the Prism Shows from her dad together with his two younger twin sisters. It looks like he has an interest in doing the family business. Itsuki is studying to be a sports doctor at a young age. Mia pointed out he has no excitement and got him involve with a Prism Surprise Show. Itsuki is actually interested in Prism Shows, despite not watching many of them. He made his Prism Show debut in Episode 15. Itsuki seems to be interested in Reina.

Yunsu (ユンス)
Yunsu is the owner of "Dear Crown", a fashion and Prism Stone store right next to Shō's in Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future. He is not liked at all by Shō, not because he is his rival in business, but because he is his rival in love. Yunsu has great respect for Aira and considers her as his muse or goddess, even presenting her a goddess crown and kissing her on the hand, to which Aira blushes, while Shō retaliates angrily. The clothes he designs are different from Shō's, according to Aira, because they're not cute but sexy and chique. His sister is Chae Kyung and he receives affections from So Min.

Michelle (ミシル)
Michelle is the dance instructor of Puretty and president of "Dear Princess".

In this Part 2 series, there are many characters have appeared, whereas the old characters like the MARS or the Callings appeared very few scenes. However, in the part 2 series, I think it involves more songs and beauty fashions. There is also a dancing of Korean style for the PURETTY group.

The character I like in this anime series is Reina as I think she is sweet and also her costume is cool for me. There are 8 theme songs in this series as 4 for opening and 4 for closing theme. I prefer the closing theme song  "Dear My Future ~Mirai no Jibun~".

Anyway, let's take a sneak peek of "Pretty Rhythm : Dear My Future" in below :-

Pretty Fashion, Pop Song & Pop Dancing -- Pretty Rhythm : Aurora Dream

Konnichiwa minasan! It’s the time that I want to blog about a Japanese anime series now! :P I have finished watching such anime series lately and I think the story is nice and beautiful, thus I would like to blog about them. FYI, there are the completed series.

This J-anime series I would like to recommend is called “Pretty Rhythm”. It is adaptation from the game and same name manga series. The story is about a 3 high school girls have formed as a pop idol group to perform ice-skating to the audience by dancing and singing. All 3 of them have characters respectively. One is in love of fashion, one is good in dancing and one is good in singing.

Title         Pretty Rhythm
Genre      : Dancing, Romance, Shoujo, Fashion, Comedy

Episodes : 51
Status      : Completed

Story :
The franchise takes place in a world where Prism Shows, performances that are a combination of singing, dancing, fashion, and ice skating, are popular. The skaters, known as Prism Stars, use Prism Stones to coordinate their dresses and perform Prism Jumps to appeal to their fans.
Aurora Dream revolves around a girl named Aira Harune who, along with a girl named Rizumu Amamiya, is scouted to become a Prism Star. Joined by a veteran Prism Star, Mion Takamine, they form a group called as MARs and work towards Rizumu's dream of performing the mysterious, legendary Prism Jump, Aurora Rising, that her mother had once performed. Prism Stars are performers on the new popular ice show, Prism Show. They are superidols whose techniques, singing and fashion sense are a cut above all others. Aira and Rizumu are two Prism Stars whose goal is to become the best, the Prism Queen. However, the road to success is bumpy.

Charascters Description
Aira Harune
Aira is a junior high school girl who one day was scouted by a man named Jun to be a Prism Star. She was born on September 3, 1997. She is very clumsy, naive, and not very good at sports, but she is very optimistic and considerate of others. Also, Aira is a huge fan of Mion, calling her "Mion-sama" for quite some time. She has a younger brother, Itsuki, who teases her and two little twin sisters, Uru and Eru, who always cheer her on. Aira's strongest suit is fashion, being very good at coordinating clothes and having the ability to hear them "sing", and she may have gotten her talent from her mother, Omi Harune, who formerly was a Prism Star Stylist. She is a fan of clothes from "Prism Stone", a store run by Shō from Callings whom Aira has a crush on. She claims that she loves Shō's designs, not him, though it is obvious to Rizumu and Mion that she does indeed like him. She had gone on a date with Shō to the fireworks festival.

Rizumu Amamiya/ Rizumu Tōdō
Rizumu is a student who goes to the same school as Aira. She was born on September 3, 1997, the same as Aira. She has horrible grades and even says that getting a 70 would be a miracle for her. But she is very good at dancing and attends a dance school for Prism Stars named "Pretty Top". She always tries to do her best and wants to become the Prism Queen to perform the "Aurora Rising" thinking that it will bring her mother back, the legendary Prism Queen Sonata Kanzaki, who disappeared after performing the legendary jump. She sometimes tries so hard that she forgets what the Prism Show is really about. She has orange hair and light brown eyes which is noted by Aira's mother to look exactly like how Sonata looked like when she was younger. She seems to be knowledgeable about love from a certain book of hers. It is very obvious that Hibiki is the one she thinks about, since she has feelings for him. She can easily become jealous and is interested in romance. She loves to eat basically anything and absolutely loves meat and chocolate.

Mion Takamine
Mion is a popular idol and model and is headstrong not an honest person, like Aira and Rizumu. Her father Pietro is an Italian-Japanese. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on March 3, 1997. At an early age she had been with her parents and wandered the world, and is currently home to live alone away from home in Japan. She doesn't stop at saying her thoughts out loud and can be stubborn sometimes too. She tries to act like an adult most of the time. In the beginning she thought that the Prism Show was a waste of her time until she saw Aira and Rizumu perform in the Tiara Cup. She got her motivation back. She is actually very lonely without her parents but tries not to show it. She has, however, warmed up to Aira and Rizumu after losing the Summer Queen Cup. She seems to like and admire Jun even though he is 10 years older than her. She has become great friends with Aira and Rizumu. She is actually afraid of dark places and ghosts or monsters. She had thought that Wataru was unreliable and depended more on Jun until he proved to her that he would protect her (looks like she is starting to see Wataru more as a man). Mion's song is called "Switch On My Heart" .

Shō
Shō is the leader of the boys idol unit group Callings. He has brown hair and violet eyes. He is also the designer of "Prism Stone", Aira's favorite shop. He is a reliable leader and tends to give Aira advice from time to time, even though he can snap sometimes. He is in his first year of high school along with Hibiki and Wataru. He finds Aira interesting. It is shown that when under pressure he can snap, like he did at Aira when she talked about his design for his upcoming deadline. He had asked and given Aira advice on what her dream really was. Shō kissed Aira's forehead in the first episode after she performed her very own Prism Jump, then fell on him, also in the last episode they kissed in  He is impressed by Aira's fashion sense and likes to tease her. He is actually afraid of dark places that surprised Aira and made her laugh.

Hibiki Tōdō
Hibiki is a part of the idol group Callings together with Shō and Wataru. He has blue hair and brown eyes. He is in his first year of high school. He likes to tease Rizumu and give her advice. It is revealed that his younger sister is Kanon Tōdō, who beat Aira and Rizumu in the Summer Queen Cup. He also gave Rizumu advice when she wanted to win the Tiara Cup and stopped having fun. He is very nice to everyone and is seen to be with Rizumu when she is eating. He and Rizumu even have a secret place (later in the episodes at the same spot proposed Rizumu's dad). Hibiki is the only member of Callings to have his surname revealed, since he is the biological brother of Kanon. He also shows love interest in Rizumu and said that he liked Rizumu better with a smile. He is always stuck with Rizumu and Kanon arguing over him (love triangle).

Wataru
Wataru is also a part of Callings together with Hibiki and Shō. He is in his first year of high school. He has red hair and green eyes. He thinks of himself as Mion's older brother. Despite his cute appearance, he is actually very good at studying and helped Rizumu to overcome her problem with her schoolwork. He enjoys working as an idol with Shō and Hibiki which he has told Mion. He told her that he would protect her when they went into a dark place on Halloween together which Rizumu thought was the beginning of their love. He develops a lot of feelings for Mion throughout the series. He tells her to depend more on him, despite his childish looks, he can be serious, trustworthy and knows when Mion is having troubles (so he always comes and cheers her up). He's not shown so much in the anime but when he is, he's always shown together with Mion. He sees himself as Jun's rival.
Hibiki (L), Sho (C), Wataru (R)

Jun Takigawa
Jun is the person who scouted Aira. He seems to know about what will happen in the future and can see star aura. Jun believes that Aira, Rizumu and Mion were all destined to be with each other. He is usually seen with President Asechi. Jun recites poems that Aira and Rizumu are clueless about while only Mion seems to understand what they stand for. He is 24 years old and seems to be the object of Mion's love. Jun seems to have understood why Aira was doing so well in Episode 3's Prism Show by calling it "youth". He seems to like to hint that something will happen later on.

Kyōko Asechi
Kyōko is the president of "Pretty Top" who usually forces Aira and Rizumu to do Prism Shows when they don't want to or when they least expect it. She is 34 years old and it is later revealed that she was planning on getting married with someone before but he ran away before the ceremony. It is unknown about who the man was though. It is also revealed that she too once participated in the Prism Show and fought against Sonata Kanzaki. Kyōko won the first round but couldn't do the Aurora Rising which made Sonata the Prism Queen. She usually tries to raise the amount of money "Pretty Top" makes and doesn't actually let Aira and Rizumu rest often. Kyōko was very worried about what would happen to Rizumu if she had done Aurora Rising. At first it was said that Kyōko is half siblings with Jun, born by the same mother but different father.
ASechi & Jun

Rabit-chi
Aira's mascot who is a pink colored rabbit and is good at Japanese comedy.

Bear-chi
Rizumu's mascot who is a brown colored bear. In Episode 13, he went to the past with Andy (Rizumu's bear that her mom made for her before she was born) when Rizumu was a baby.

Neko-chi
Mion's mascot who is a purple and grey colored cat. At first she was just like Mion, selfish but later on she got used to the others and became friends. She is just like a normal cat that likes the batons.

I like this anime series due to the it involves fashion and ice-skating. All the clothes are beautiful and ice-skarting is my favourite since I was young but I could not perform it well. Thus, by watching this anime series, it makes me recall my childhood dream as I wish to become an ice-skater! :P
The  characters of this anime series,  Aira, Rizumu are very cute and the male character I prefer Hikibi than Sho. Jun is not bad too as he is cool sometimes! :)
Ok, let us take a sneak peek of “Pretty Rhythm” anime series at below.

The part that I like the most in this anime series is the performance of the Prism Stars, especiallly when they do the jumping respectively. I think it is beautiful and very skillful! :) Personally I am yet to read the manga series, I think I will try to read it when I have the time. :P Moreover, there are many songs available in the series.

Click on "Pretty Rhythm" to join the world with fashion and pop dance and songs.

Well, hope you all will enjoy watching the "Pretty Rhythm"! :)
