I really like the actor Kim Soo-Hyun after watching this TV drama. He is a very talented actor and he is very suit for the role Do-Min-joon. Before this drama, I have also watched some of his TV dramas, such as, "Giant", "Will it Snow for Christmas", and "The Moon Embracing the Sun". I can see his acting skill is improving and also becomes more matured. He is a very talented actor for me. Of course, he is very cute too. :)

As for the lead actress, Jun Ji-hyun. No doubt that she is a pretty actress and this is the drama of her comes back after 14 years. Now she is a wife of a lucky man! She acts very natural in the drama.

Another young actress, Kim Hyun-soo, she acted as the young role of Cheon-Song-yi. She is a very good young actress and very talented. I am quite like her personally.

Kim Hyun-Soo

Well, my most favourite scene of the "My Love from the Star" is Do Min-joon stopped the time in the ice pool while he is fishing, then he walks towards to the girl she loves, Cheon Song-yi and kisses her (whom the lady didn't know it). Hello again! Are you ready for my top 3 of the favourite k-drama?! I will reveal them now. Maybe you could share with me your favourite top 5 after reading my post. :) I also would like to know your favourites!

NO.3 GOOD DOCTOR

Good Doctor is a medical drama television series starring Joo Won, Moon Chae-won, Joo Sang-wook, Chun Ho-jin, Kwak Do-won and Ko Chang-seok.Joo Won plays an autistic savant who becomes a genius pediatric surgeon.

"Good Doctor" is a 20 episodes medical drama in romance comedy.
Good Doctor

A young man named Park Shi-On (Joo Won) has savant syndrome and a developmental disability. His mental age is that of a 10-year-old, but he becomes a paediatric surgeon. Meanwhile, Kim Do-Han (Joo Sang-Wook), who is the best paediatric surgeon, finds himself frequently in confrontation with Park Shi-On.

When Park Shi-On was a child, he was quite different from other children due to having savant syndrome. Other children did not want to hang around him. Shi-On was always alone, but he did have his older brother and a rabbit. His older brother always took care of Shi-On. Meanwhile, Shi-On's father was violent and abusive. He even killed Shi-On's pet rabbit.
One day, Shi-On's older brother makes a deal with the neighborhood kids. Shi-On and his older brother will enter a closed mine and bring out a bolt from there. In return, the kids will play with Shi-On. When Shi-On and his brother enters the mine, the mine collapses. Doctor Choi Woo-Seok (Cheon Ho-Jin), as part of the rescue team sent inside the mine, finds the brothers and tries to get them out. Only Shi-On is able to make it out alive. Since that time, Shi-On regularly visits Doctor Choi woo-Seok at the government run clinic where he works. Shi-On spends his time there reading medical books. Doctor Choi Woo-Seok quickly realizes that Shi-On has a special ability.
Years later, Shi-On travels to Seoul for the first time to receive training as a medical resident. As he arrives at the Seoul Station, a child is seriously injured by a piece of glass that falls from the ceiling. Shi-On has never practiced medicine before, but he is able to administer first aid from reading all those medical books. He then gets on the ambulance that takes the injured child and his mother to the hospital. Shi-On learns that the ambulance is going to Sungwon University Hospital, which is where he is supposed to receive resident training. He becomes relieved by the coincidence, because he is already late for his interview.
Meanwhile, Choi Woo-Seok, who is now the chief director at Sungwon University Hospital, attempts to convince the other directors to accept Shi-On for training. The group of directors are not happy about Shi-On. When Shi-On does not appear on time, they decide to turn him away for good. Shi-On, though, is right outside of the surgery room where the injured child is receiving surgery. In the emergency room, Do-Han (Joo Sang-Wook) and his team perform the surgery. After Shi-On learns that the surgery is a success, he goes to the meeting room, but only Doctor Choi Woo-Seok is there.

Choi Woo-Seok decides to take Shi-On to a restaurant, as he looks distraught from not being accepted as a resident at the hospital. While having lunch together, the TV at the restaurant shows footage of Shi-On performing first aid at the train station. Reporters wander the halls of Sungwon University Hospital looking for the doctor who performed the first aid. Because of the positive publicity from the incident, the group of directors at Sungwon University Hospital decide to accept Shi-On is a resident in training for a six month period. According to the terms of his contract if Shi-On makes trouble during the six month period, he will be kicked out of the program and Doctor Choi Woo-Seok will resign from his position as the chief director at the hospital. Dr. Do-Han becomes furious over the contract, because he views Choi Woo-Seok as almost like a father. He doesn't want Choi Woo-Seok to lose his job because of Shi-On. Doctor Choi Woo-Seok though asks Do-Han to mentor Shi-On.
Shi-On goes to an apartment complex for hospital doctors where he will stay. When he sits down alone in the apartment, the apartment door opens and a woman enters. She eventually crashes on the bed. The woman is Yoon-Seo (Moon Chae-Won), a resident in pediatric surgery. She is completely drunk and entered the wrong apartment. Shi-On stands right next to the bed, watching Yoon-Seo sleep.

The reason I select "Good Doctor" as top 3 due to I like the story. Besides, I think it is a drama which motivate people and support to the weakness. For example, although the character of the lead actor is a "handicapped", he is a genius and he really gives his heart out to help people. This shows that the normal people do not look down or laugh at the abnormal/weakness people. In fact, we should give them loves and support. Moreover, this drama shows the realistic scene of the surgeries too. I think it is providing medical knowledge to us.

NO.1 I CAN HEAR YOUR VOICE, THE KING OF AMBITION

Yes, I have 2 top 1 as my favourite in year 2013 due to both of these TV series are very good for me. I could not rate them as both of them have the different type of genres. Thus, I rated both of the series as no.1 personally.

I Can Hear Your Voice

I Can Hear Your Voice
"I Can Hear Your Voice" is a 18 episode TV series with romance, comedy, crime, thriller and mystery. The drama is about a lawyer who is appointed by the state to represent a defendant who has “not even a 1% chance of being declared innocent.”

The story is about Jang Hye Sung (
Lee Bo Young) is a bold, sassy, thick-faced, comical female lawyer. She is a prickly edge, sharp tongue who doesn’t have a bit of concept or manners and finds it hard to be enthusiastic about what she does. Cha Kwan Woo (Yoon Sang Hyun) is a serious, passionate and macho former police officer who becomes a government lawyer. Meanwhile, Park Soo Ha (Lee Jong Suk) is a 19 years old boy who has the superpower to hear people’s thoughts. Together they will team up to solve the cases no one else wants, cases that only have a one percent chance of being found innocent.

I like both the lead actress and the actor very much in this drama as both their acting is very good, especially the lead actress. She is very pretty for me, and she acts very natural as a good lawyer. As for the actor, Lee Jong Suk, he has improved very much in his acting skill as compares to his old series. In this drama, he is a cool guy for me and he does his best to protect his love one. I think it is very sweet. :)

Although this drama having romance of older sister and a younger brother, i think it is a sweet romance. The reason is that the couple looks natural and sweet together. In fact, it is a sweet couple for me! Hehe! :P The story is also very good as it leads the viewers to know what the villain would do to harm the people and how the lawyer to solve the case. This is the main thing for me to rate "I Can Hear Your Voice"as top 1. What if someone is really could listen to your mind?! :P

The King of Ambition

"The King of Ambition" aka "Yawang", starring Kwon Sang-woo, Soo Ae, Jung Yun-ho, Kim Sung-ryung, and Go Joon-hee, consists of 24 episodes. Based on Park In-kwon's manhwa of the same title, the drama tells the tale of an ambitious woman born into poverty who will let nothing stand in her way as she tries to become the First Lady, and a hopeless romantic who will sacrifice anything for her. But when she betrays him, he takes his revenge. The actress, Kim Sung-ryung has won the Actress Acting Award in the Year 2013 Apan Star Awards for this TV drama.

The King of Ambition
The name Ha Ryu means "a child flown from heaven." He was given this name by the nun who first found him in front of an orphanage; it came to her immediately the moment she saw his pure, innocent face. Ha Ryu's life began in earnest when he first laid eyes on Da-hae at the orphanage. Ha Ryu was a simple boy who disliked chores; however, for Da-hae, there was nothing he would not do or any place he would not go. Whenever Da-hae cried, Ha Ryu became too restless to do anything. But when Da-hae was adopted, they had to part. Ten years later, Ha Ryu runs into Da-hae again. He feels electrified and like he is losing his mind. Then and there, he swears that nothing will ever come between them again. He also promises himself that he will do anything and everything to make her happy until the day he dies. Da-hae is a bright young woman and Ha Ryu works day and night with all his strength to earn money to pay her university tuition abroad. No matter how tired he is, all he requires to be happy is Da-hae's smile. But over time Da-hae changes. Ha Ryu thinks it cannot be permanent when he admires her beauty and sophistication, like a bright, shining star. Even when she frames him for a murder, he tries to understand her. However, when she loses their daughter, Eun-byul, he finally snaps and he cannot forgive her. Ha Ryu changes, too. His wrath erupts like a volcano because of the betrayal of his one true love and turns Ha Ryu into a beast. He, who was once a mere minion in a gang, makes his way to the top and becomes CEO of Baekhak Group, one of Korea’s leading companies. "I will bring you down with my own two hands and put you back to where you first began. I will step on you and hurt you more than you can imagine," he promises her and his bitter revenge against Da-hae, the woman he, for so long, loved more than life itself, begins... in the end Da-hae becomes the First Lady of Korea, then she is exposed for her crimes after she shoots and injures Ha Ryu. Ha Ryu then chases after her when Da-hae's step brother escapes with her. He confronts Da-hae for killing his father and when she admits to it he tries to run her over. Ha-Ryu jumps in the away and then he and Da-hae are both hit by the car. Da-hae, still conscious, cries and apologizes to a severely injured Ha Ryu. Then they both pass out and end up in hospital beds. They both imagine having conversations with each other when they were young and finally understand why they grew into the people they became. Ha Ryu wakes up from his coma only to find out Da-hae has passed away. Ha Ryu continues to live his life and ends the series back at the old house he, Eun-Byul, and Da-hae lived. He looks at the portrait Eun-Byul drew and thinks about all he has lost trying to pursue revenge.

Personally I think the lead actress is acting very good in this drama. She acts as a "villain" and I think she is like the Korean version of the character "Evita". Haha! Besides, the lead actor also plays double roles as the twins and he cools cool when he plays as the lawyer. :)

I rated this drama as top 1 due to the story and the acting skills of the actors in the drama. They are good.

My Most Favourite Top 5 of K-Drama of Year 2013 (Part I)

Hello there! It's been sometime that I did not update my blog here. Thus I would like to blog about my top 5 favourite of the K-dramas that I have been watching in the year 2013. As you know that there are many K-TV drama being aired in the year 2013, and I have chosen my top 5!

Maybe my top 5 is different from yours, but difference people have different preferences, right?! Hehe! :P So, I will start with with favourite no.5 of the K-drama now.

NO.5 The Inheritors

"The Inheritors" aka "The Heirs"is a television series starring Lee Min-ho and Park Shin-hye. It is a trendy drama is set in a high school populated by the privileged and uber-rich. This is a melodrama with school romance and comedy. This series consists of 20 episodes.

The Inheritors

The series follows a group of rich, privileged, and elite high school students as they are groomed to take over their families' business empires. These wealthy students seem to have everything under control, except their love lives. Kim Tan (Lee Min-ho) is a handsome and wealthy heir to a large Korean conglomerate who is sent to study abroad in the U.S. In reality, it's a form of exile, as his elder half-brother back home, Kim Won (Choi Jin-hyuk) schemes to take over the family business. While in the States, Kim Tan bumps into Cha Eun-sang (Park Shin-hye), who has arrived from Korea in search of her older sister.Slowly, he finds himself falling for her, never realizing that she's the daughter of his family's housekeeper. When Kim Tan's fiancée, Rachel Yoo (Kim Ji-won), arrives to bring him back to Korea, his heart is torn between love and duty. Meanwhile, Rachel's future stepbrother and Kim Tan's former best friend, Choi Young-do (Kim Woo-bin) goes to the same school as Kim Tan and Eun-sang and starts falling for Eun-sang as well. Troubles arise as the heirs realize the differences between money and the real world.

Both the lead actors and actress have won a few awards for this series. I started to like the actor Kim Woo-Bin after watching this series as I think he is a cool guy! :)

Personally, I think "The Inheritors" would be rated as no.1 for many of the K-fans because they like the actors with good-looking and actresses are pretty. The reason I rated as no.5 is due to the story is a bit shojo story for me. I think it is a bit normal. Thus, no. 5 for me here.

NO.4 That Winter, The Wind Blows

This is a romantic melodrama television series starring Zo In-sung, Song Hye-kyo, Kim Bum and Jung Eun-ji. A gambler and con man (played by Zo) pretends to be the long-lost brother of a blind heiress (played by Song), but these two damaged people come to find the true meaning of love after meeting each other. The series is based on the Japanese drama I Don't Need Love, Summer (愛なんていらねえよ、夏 Ai Nante Irane Yo, Natsu) and was previously adapted into the 2006 Korean film Love Me Not.This 2013 Korean drama adaptation was written by Noh Hee-kyung and directed by Kim Kyu-tae.

This drama has 16 episodes. I like this drama because of the snowing scene and also the lead actor. Zo In-sung is a very cool man in this drama and he looks good. Besides, Song Hye-kyo is very pretty. Although the beginning of the story is a bit sad, it still is the happy ending though! :) Moreover, the music of this drama is beautiful. I like it.

That Winter, The Winter Blows

Ok, that's for now. I'll reveal my top 3 in my next post. If you would like to know, please follow me! :)
