Oh No! I have fall in love with my Uncle! – Ai Hime - Love and Secrets

Konnichiwa minasan! It’s been a long time that I did not blog any manga series since the beginning of this year. Well, I hope you would forgive me for that! : P Anyway, I have read some short manga series in the past 2 weeks and I think the story is quite nice and I would like to blog about them. FYI, there are the completed series. Of course, my favourite, shoujo manga series too! Hehe! :P
The first manga series I would like to recommend is called “Ai Hime - Love and Secrets”. Actually I picked this manga series randomly. The story is about a 16 year-old school girl has met a guy who sleeping underneath a blossoming sakura tree. They kissed and she has felt in love to him. However, the fate has brought them that he is actually the uncle of the girl. So, the story goes on between them.
Title         : Ai Hime - Love and Secret, Ai Hime ~ Ai to Himegoto
Author    : Mitsuki Kako
Genre      : Romance, Shoujo, School-Life
Volumes : 3
Status      : Completed
Story :
Mao, who is a 16 year old girl by chance after following a cat encounters a handsome man sleeping underneath a blossoming sakura tree. She approaches him and he unexpectedly awakens and kisses Mao. Yet, as fate would have it, the mysterious stranger is actually, Jin, her uncle, though they are not related by blood and he is chosen by Mao's parents to be her guardian as her parents are working abroad. But how will Mao handle her blossoming feelings for her 'uncle' while living with him under the same roof.
I like this manga series due to the 'Ai Hime' turns the forbidden love story between an uncle and a niece quickly into a light, heart-warming shojo manga. I am always tempted by the plot of forbidden love, as those always seem to be decent reads.
The main characters of this manga, Mao and Jin's personalities fit perfectly. Mao takes the rule of the cute and caring girl while Jin is the protecting yet mean, guy. The art of 'Ai Hime' is good I think as I like Mao as she has big eyes and looks cute.

Ok, let us take a sneak peek of “Ai Hime – Love and Secrets”at below.

The part that I like the most in this manga series is at the beginning that Mao and Jin are met and kissed underneath the blossoming sakura tree. I think it is very beautiful and romantic indeed! :P Both of them are love at first sight though! J Well, if you would like to enter the world of the “forbidden” love world, click into “Ai Hime – Love and Secrets”to join Mao and Jin.

Enjoy reading! J

Ayame Gōriki Stars in L DK Live-Action Film

Adaptation of Ayu Watanabe's shōjo romance manga to open in spring 2014

Actress Ayame Gōriki will star as Aoi in the live-action film adaptation of Ayu Watanabe's L DK shōjo manga. Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend magazine had revealed last month that the manga would be getting a film adaptation, but did not specify the medium at that time.  Gōriki will also play Shiori Genpō in next year's Black Butler live-action film, and is also playing Jun in the this year's live-action Gatchaman film. Gōriki also played Yuno Furusaki in the live-action Mirai Nikki - Another: World television series.Yasuhiro Kawamura (live-action Nodame Cantabile, Himitsu no Akko-chan films) is directing the film, and Yuuko Matsuda (live-action Gokusen series) is handling the scripts. The film is slated to open in Japan in spring 2014, and filming is set to start in the beginning of July. The manga follows Aoi, a high school girl who lives by herself. Through one circumstance after another, she ends up living under the same roof with the "prince" of her school, Shūsei. (The manga's title is a wordplay on "LDK," the abbreviation for "living room, dining room, kitchen" in Japanese apartment ads.)
Watanabe launched the manga in 2009, and Kodansha will publish the 12th compiled book volume on May 13. The manga has more than 2.7 million copies in print.
