The story of “Miss Ripley” is based on a real life case in Korea. The actors and actress are Lee Da Hae, Park Yoo Chun, Kim Seung Woo and many more.

Jang Myung Hoon is an ambitious hotelier who maintains perfect control of himself and his life, while Yutaka is the warm and gentle heir of a Korean-Japanese hotel conglomerate. Their love for Mi Ri and her tragic ambition eventually leads them down the path of destruction.

Title         : Miss Ripley/ 미스 리플리
Genre      : Melodrama, Romance, Crime
Episodes : 16
Air time : Every Monday to Friday @ 8:30pm (Astro Channel 708 (8TV))
Story       :
Jang Mi-Ri (Lee Da-Hae) works as hostess in Japan. She is held there to pay off her stepfather's debt. The evening that Mi-Ri finally pays off her stepfather's debt, the bar owner Hirayama (Kim Jeong-Tae) still doesn't let her go. Mi-Ri then runs away from the place and is able to make it to South Korea.
Mi-Ri then rents a small room in South Korea. In the same building, Yootaka (Micky Yoochun) also rents a room. Yootaka has recently arrived from Japan as well and he rents the low-budget room even though he comes from an affluent family. He hopes to learn the ways of the world on his own.
Mi-Ri, becoming situated in South Korea, works various part-time jobs like washing cars while also seeking out permanent employment. This is important because as a Japanese citizen Mi-Ri needs to find a permanent job to stay in the country. Unfortunately, Mi-Ri finds it difficult to find a permanent job due to her educational background - Mi-Ri only has a high school degree and didn't attend college. Time is running out for Mi-Ri.
Meanwhile, Jang Myung-Hoon (Kim Seung-Woo) works for a hotel owned by his father-in-law. His wife is renowned pianist Lee Gui-Yeon (Hwang Ji-Hyun). To placate an important customer at the hotel, Myung-Hoon needs to find someone able to speak the Japanese Hataka dialect. His searches comes up empty as that spoken dialect is extremely rare in South Korea.
Mi-Ri goes for another interview hoping to find a permanent job. This time, Mi-Ri is sexually assaulted by her interviewer. She is able to fight off the man and escape out of the building. While leaving, Mi-Ri is almost hit by a car. The man driving the car is Jang Myung-Hoon. He gets out of the car and asks if she is OK. Mi-Ri, angry over her entire situation, blurts out words in Japanese. Jang Myung-Hoon, who is still looking for someone able to speak the Hadaka dialect, recognizes that Mi-Ri could fill that position. Myung-Hoon offers to hire her temporarily for a few days to see if she can do the work. Mi-Ri passes on the offer because her deadline to find a permanent job is approaching and she needs a permanent job. Mi-Ri then says hopelessly, "... even if I graduated from Tokyo University I won't be hired." Myung-Hoon, not understanding her correctly, says since you graduated from Tokyo University there is no reason not to hire you. This is how her lie begins ...

The actress Lee Da Hae is very pretty in this drama “Miss Ripley”. She has a slim figure and her costumes in the drama are very beautiful too. However, she acts as a “bad” woman here. Overall, I think she has to fight for her life in order to make her life good in “Miss Ripley”.

Vampire Knight Manga's Final Arc to Start in January

Matsuri Hino's story inspired 2 TV anime series

Hakusensha's LaLa magazine is announcing that Matsuri Hino will launch the final story arc of her Vampire Knight manga in the March issue on January 24. The series revolves around Yuki, a high school girl whose unique school features a "day class" of normal kids and a "night class" of vampires. She works with her adopted father and headmaster to prove that vampires can coexist with humans peacefully, but the school — and the vampires — hide many secrets. Hino launched the manga in LaLa in 2004, and Hakusensha will publish the 17th compiled book volume next month. Viz Media will publish the 16th volume in March in North America, and the company also released the 2008 Vampire Knight anime series and its Vampire Knight Guilty followup.

I Really Like You -- Suki-tte Ii na yo

Konnichiwa minasan!

Today, I would like to recommend an anime series to you all which I am watching online currently. I like this anime series as it is an adaptation from the shoujo manga series. Well, the name of the anime series is called “Suki-tte li na yo”(Say “I love You”) by Kanae Hazuki.

This anime series consist of 13 episodes. It is showing once a week online and it is an ongoing series. The story is about a school girl named Mei, who is a very quiet girl and then meets a boy named Yamato Kurosawa. Since then, her life starts to change.

Title           : Suki-tte li na yo (Say “I love You”)

Genre        : School Life, Shoujo, Romance

Episodes   : 13 episodes

Status        : Ongoing series

Story      :

Quiet and unassuming Mei Tachibana is 16-years-old, but has spent her high school years without making friends or getting a boyfriend because of a childhood incident that left her believing that people will betray each other sooner or later. One day, she accidentally injures Kurosawa Yamato, the school's most popular boy. For some reason, Yamato becomes interested in Mei and starts a one-sided friendship with her. He even protects her from a stalker - by kissing her. Then through their tentative friendship and blossoming relationship that Mei ultimately begins to branch out and befriend others and she changes her life.

Characters :

Mei Tachibana ( めい, Tachibana Mei)
Mei was a social person before, but ever since her friends turned against her; she decided never to befriend anyone again. At first, she is described as "freakishly gloomy" and "doesn't speak". She is anti-social, clumsy, observant as well as honest, and funny. Her father died from cancer.

Yamato Kurosawa (黒沢 大和, Kurosawa Yamato)
One of the most popular boys in his school. When he first meets Mei, he gets kicked by her. After giving her his phone number, Mei gets stalked and calls Yamato for help. When he gets there, he kisses Mei to get the stalker to go away. Then, he eventually grows a liking to her. Asami describes Yamato as someone who thinks of others more than anyone else, protects what should be protected, and cares for others despite having his own problems to deal with.

Asami Oikawa (及川 あさみ, Oikawa Asami)
Mei's classmate and friend who has a complex about her large chest. She hates that people always stare at it and that no one seems to like her for her. She idolizes Yamato because he defended her in middle school, and wishes for a prince of her own to protect her.

Kenji Nakanishi (中西 健志, Nakanishi Kenji)
One of Mei's classmates, and a good friend of Yamato's. He has a big crush on Asami.

Aiko Mutō (武藤 愛子, Mutō Aiko)
A classmate of Yamato and Mei's. She's brash and bad-mouthed, but a nice girl. She's liked Yamato for a long time, but he hasn't reciprocated her feelings.

Masashi Tachikawa (立川 雅司, Tachikawa Masashi)
Aiko's lover, and the only one she can show her "entire" body to. He's liked her ever since she was chubby.

Kakeru Hayakawa (早川 駆流, Hayakawa Kakeru)
A classmate of Yamato and Mei's. He sleeps around with many different girls just to feel as "popular" as Yamato, but still hasn't achieved this goal. His childhood friend, Chiharu (千晴), is one of the few people who treats him as a friend and not a lover.

I like most of the characters in this anime series. They are unique respectively. My most favourite character is Yamato Kurosawa. Wow, he is cool I think! :P I like his love passion towards Mei and he is a good boyfriend instead.
